Product Details

This fun, tailored valance is an unusual take on a pleated style and can be adapted to fit any size window. For added interest, we like to use a contrast fabric for the pleats and add some trim along the bottom edge. For installation, you can use a rod with rings or decorative knobs with post adapters.

Questions and Answers
Q: The photo shows the Delaine on a curtain rod, but there is a note recommending that you use post adapters. Is the pattern interchangeable for curtain rods and post adapters?

A: Laura, yes you can can use a rod with rings or the posts with finials.

Q: Can you use a rod with rings and drapery hooks with Dalaine ? Or just with rings with clips?
Asked by:  - 5/11/2014
A: We haven't personally used drapery pins but it could probably be done. It is just easier to do with the clip on rings.

Q: Do you only sell the fabric for the Delanie Patters or do you sell the the completed treatment as shown in the picture?
Asked by:  - 6/3/2014
A: We sell the fabric for you to make your own or we can also make the valances for you. Just give us a call and we will be happy to help you decide what works best for you.

Asked by:  - 3/14/2015
A: Yardage details for various size windows are listed on the website. You can find these by clicking on the particular valance you like, then by scrolling down to the icon labeled "view yardage & details" Here's the link for the Delaine.

Q: also, does this pattern work well with upholstery / drapery thickness fabric?
Asked by:  - 3/14/2015
A: A heavier fabric would be acceptable for the flat swag portion of the valance but the pleated areas requires a lighter weight fabric. It is not recommended to use a heavier weight fabric such as upholstery fabric in this area.
