Q: If I am not using a board to install but a rod and rings do I include the return when cutting the pattern.?

Q: Can your Kasey pattern be shortened and how would I go about doing it? I already have the pattern.Also can your other patterns be shortened?

You would still want to include the returns even if you are doing a board mount.

Our Kasey valance as well as most of our other valances can be shortened by folding a tuck across the middle of each pattern piece to remove the desired amount you want to shorten it. Be sure to make a mock of your altered valance out of an old sheet or some other left over fabric you have lying around before cutting your decorative fabric. You can also push pin your mock on the wall above your window. You want to make sure you actually like what you think you want!!
